jus thought i would throw it out there, i know there are are ton of things going on, but with the ZL1 out now and the cts-v running under the radar for a while now, i just think it would be a badass class.. Mustang guys had a terminator class...
see you at the fest..

what a great weekend john. The track crew was just fantastic. I am very unhappy about what happened with the true street deal, and think that should be something you guys should really discuss.. but other than that what a amazing event.. now get us a LSA class so i can race two cars next year!

John this class would be a hit. There are a half dozen shops building Zl1 s that I know would want to be involved. Ther are dozens of good builds in the midwest going on not to mention the cts vs that would run.... I bet if advertised on the boards 20 cars would show easily...hell ill bring two myself.lol

John I'm willing to sponsor a lsa blower class. I would bring at least 4 cars to run in it. Something simple like engine is original chassis and original gm supercharger. No 4th gens with lsa swaps and no twin turbo or whipple swaps. I could see this being the largest heads up class right now.

Looks like between vengeance and us we have the sponsorship covered. There would be between 20 and 35 cars there at the first race. It would probably have to be split into built motor for stock motor in the future just from to many entries. Just think of a lsx class with a full 32 car ladder. What is there to lose?

I get the pro mod thing, but this is a legit class that with the right (AKA SIMPLE) rules, could bring 30-40 cars easy... simple, stock blower (case) and a real weight limit ( a light zl1 is 4000#s... cts-v is way heavier) these SIMPLE rules will make it where there will be some big boys who run nitrous or big ci but will still be limited by the blower. if whipple wants to get off there *** and make a bolt on kit then the rules could be ammended.. the stupid start stop crap takes up a ton of track time and can get kicked to the curb if you talk to most people..im going to keep pushing for this and I am really happy a couple big shops are willing to get behind it..
they need to catch up with the times... a few years and this platform will be out of production. waiting a few years would be like starting a race for c6s next year.... they need to be current with the cars people are driving/modding if they want to get that car count up..this is such a great event..this would add to it..

Well, send me an email to john@motorsports-media.com. I think they think it's a packed program but I can run it up the flagpole again.
