Default Hat's Off to the LS Fest Event Organizers

My wife and I have attended every LS Fest and it is a must do event for anyone that has not made the trip.

This year’s event was fantastic! I know from past experience how hard it is to put on such a great event. I must say the way it was ran this year was something short of amazing. We enjoyed meeting new folks, seeing old friends and racing our car in the new Street King Class. This was our first race outing of the year and the competition was very strong.

The only line I had to wait in was for ice cream. Access in and out of the facility was very smooth and to see the spectator field where everyone parked overflowing with vehicles was a testament to a successful event.

Again you all are doing a great job with the event! I like the fact you continue to add new things for everyone to be a part of. I am already looking forward to next year.

Need more food vendors, and I need to remember to bring a lot of water with me. I didn't drink nearly enough water on Saturday, and sadly, I'm working through a kidney stone now. I got to the track, forgot my water, and the lines were pretty long, and when I discovered that a 12oz bottle of water was $4-$5, I was a little disappointed... but such is life I guess.

Agreed.

My -only- complaint is food.

Long lines (wait time).. They take cash only.. And very over priced.

Maybe not much Holley can do with that but it is my complaint. LOL

I didn't have much cash on me, rode with other people, and couldn't find an ATM, so I was kind of screwed.

Thanks Keith, it was fun racing for the first time this year and making it to the final round with Al. He is a super nice guy and one skilled racer. We had a blast the entire weekend! Glad we could help out by watching your car.

See you all next year!

P.S. Never come to a race track without cash, food and drinks that is poor planning.

I agree with you, but I flew into Indy the day before, rode down with friends, and had to rely on multiple friends to get around. In hindsight, I could have rented a car, but I figured I'd be at the track the entire day, and it would be a waste.

I should have asked to make a stop at a supermarket to get food and drinks and cash, but I hate asking people for favors, so such is life. I was just happy I made the trip, and was able to spend the weekend with good friends.

Part of the problem was I got separated from people, and my verizon cell service sucked big time at the track.

It's all good, I survived, had a great time, wouldn't change a thing.

To me it would be hard to get a set of rules to go by, so many different setups out there.

Ls fest was ok drag racing wise. They wanted to run the **** out of everybody on Sunday. I believe they should run every class at least one round at the start instead of rumble three times in a row with street king in the mix. Gives the heads up guys more time for the next round. But I think that should be voted on by the heads up guys.

Sounds good!

I had no problems with how fast they got us out of there on Sunday.

Next year is getting closer day by day.
