At least I can try to make a few of the stop if I can't get enough time off to long haul again.
It's been through the midwest for 4 years straight now. I figured they'd go west coast for '06 (the rumor for the '04 PT was from Dallas to Vegas

I'm with y'all. Gainsville seems too close. Perry GA is huge, but what else? Columbia, SC, what's there too? Roanoke is about 4 hours from home, pretty much nothing there and the VA state police can suck sometimes. Seems Petersburg at the VA Motorsports Park would have been a better choice. Harrisburg, PA, nice area, but we're surely gonna be at the farm show complex. Not much else to do there either. As for E-town, never been, but heard it's pretty much a mediocre type of area. Either way, we'll be there.

the last two stops are fairly decent...harrisburg- they will probably go to carlisle which isnt too far away...the fair grounds where everything is held. only thing to do in englishtown is the DRAG racing at raceway park which is gonna be awsome. well for me anyway cause im close to home and dont have to worry about breaking anything...

Yeah i loved the RT 66 tour in 01! I long hauled the PT for years until they started with the crappy midwest tours! Most long haulers stopped going after those midwest tours so who knows hopefully they listen to us and do a trip that actually goes somewhere! Instead of driving in circles thru the same states!

What does Columbia, SC have to offer? I lived there 4 years and went to many car shows in the area, what area could the PT park with the kind of crowd it draws?

Yep, about a 15-20 minute drive depending on traffic (which during that time of year with most college students at home/on vacation will work out well). I might have to do a short leg of this one, and I think everyone will be pleased with the Gainesville track (I'm biased of course since I race there frequently).
