New to LS1's

I'm new here & to LS1's. I have an 82 Corvette that I am going to swap over to an LS1. The Crossfire has pushed me over the edge, so it's time to go to the new gen. I will probably need alot of help & suggestions on making the conversion.

Thanks in advance!

depending on how much money you have it would be better to go ls-6 or ls-2. You can build your own motors brand new for pretty cheap. You have a lot of great options man.

Thanks for the Welcome.

What is the difference in the LS2 & LS6 cams. I don't mind spending some money for upgrades at this point, I just don't know what the total cost will be yet. What is a good price for a cam & new style intake going to run?

What I meant to say is get the ls6, ls2, lq9 or a custom 402 if you already haven't gotten the ls1. If you already got the ls1 and want some good power with a cam it will cost you around 500-700 for a complete cam kit. Intakes 300 for ls-6, close to a grand for a fast 90.
