I'm finally here

Hi every one! I've been a long time looky loo and now I'm finally registered. My name is Lonnie aka "Hamrdown". I'm from Wichita Falls, Tx. Home of NX. I have a 98 TA auto. started with bolt ons and went 7.82 1/8 mile and the bug really started to hit. I was building a 402 combo but came across a screamin' deal on a 395 ls6 stroker w/ all the best parts; Lunati crank, pro billet rods ect.:D so I sold the 402, kept the V.R. ported 92/92 and now starting on this endevor. I have a built 4l60. I plan on a gear vendors trans unit install as soon as funds allow for gear spliting fun and the double overdrive. A 9" rear w/ 3.70s. and a NX nitrous kit with more mods coming from several vendors. I'm glad to finally be here and can't wait to hear from everyone.

Lol! i'll get pics soon. My T.A. is on jack stands awaiting the 395 install and the Camaro I bought with the 395 is awaiting tear down to swap every thing over. I just personally like the looks of the T.A. over the z28. plus I have alot of sentimental value in the tA as well.I do have a pic of me yankin the front tires about an inch off the ground w/ nothing more than bolt ons. i will try to find it and post.

welcome! i have a younger bro that lives in wichita falls.

u happen to, by chance, see a '68 camaro, loud as hell, vipor blue with grey stripes, on some "17's rollin around town? that woulda been him.

"was" him, i should say. he sold it about 2 months ago for god knows what reason and bought an expedition.

Hamrdown Nov 9, 2008 09:06 PM

yeah I saw him every now and then. Seemed like a nice kid. i like your name on here. I used to live in Ok. and worked in Norman and Shawnee for Tilt arcade company. I bet he has seen my car. It hasn't been on the road for about a year due to lots of mods but it's a 98 navy blue ta w/ ram air, ghosted bird on hood, and plates that spell HAMRDWN.

Boomer Sooner Nov 9, 2008 09:14 PM
