Hey Guys ,new to the forum
I want to build a injected 70 ta with all new tech ,motor with a/c,new suspension,mini tubed
the goal is a daily driver comparable to my new truck with classic style.
Is LS1 ,6.0 ,5.3???
Most economical combo is my goal ,already own the car just need the best motor /trans combo
I need insight ????

you can use any of the ls motors. The ls1 is the 5.7. a 346 cu. motor. the ls2 is a 6.0 and the iron one is a LQ9. a 5.3 came in trucks etc.
any will work with what you want and make good power with good MPG.

it also depends how you plan on achieving that power. the 5.3 doesn't put out much to start with but iron can handle more boost.
if your into modding the motor, the ls1 is turning into what the ford 5.0 used to be; a rock solid proven motor with probable the most aftermarket support anyone could want.
and unless things have changed the 6.0 is more expensive than the 5.7 but it gives you about 50 more hp.
