Well i just purchased my first ls based engine. I am doing a weird swap, putting this in a 86 F150.
I just settled a deal. I got a 2006 LQ9 motor with 45k miles on it. Im going to put a 4L65e behind it. I paid hardly anything for the motor, and got EVERYTHING including the computer, all the accessories and everything. I will have the first lq9 F150 ive seen, and with 385 ft lbs at the flywheel stock, i should have a quick truck. I will need some help along the way im sure. I have no idea what else i need haha
Nice to meet everyone here.

haha, id put it in something else, but money is a factor. Paid 750 for the truck, not one spec of rust, and has a brand new driveshaft. Truck never saw more than 40mph being on a farm either.
