Chevelle Guy from CA - Hopefully LS Swap Hello, my name is Chad from West Hills, CA. I am doing a frame off restoration of my 66 chevelle and hope to do an LS install in my car. I heard this is the place for the LS install info and am excited to do more research and get this project going.
Any links to good A-body LS swap threads is very appreciated.
I am looking for 400-450 hp, maybe supercharge it in the future.
Is there a general opinion on which LS engine is the best bang for the buck as the base for the install.
Get the cheapest one you can find and upgrade the heads and intake, or find a more modern LS with the aluminum heads.
LY6, LQ4, L92?
