Arrow Traded in the pontiac for a camaro (lots of pics)

Traded in my 08 G6 with 36k miles for an 02 ss camaro with 35k miles. Spotted some rear end problems, had them put a grand into it. hAD MORE REAREND problems after 2 days, replaced that, gaskets, pans, pulleys, and bearings. All thats on the list now is a fuel system cleanout, fuel filter, and fixing a stubborn leaking rear differential tomorrow morning before i put it in for the winter after owning it for about a month

Pictures of My G6 and SS in my profile albums, going to wax and take care of the little scratches and scuffs while it sits for the winter, going to save til spring then do some mods.

Heres my supposed list so far

- Chip tuner (I'm thinking flashpaq, what would you use?)
- Slp Cold air cut modification (I would like some pointers on this)
- A cam that doesnt give that strokey crackel pop sound, so im thinking a fast cam
- Cant do headers and cats ( Strictest emissions regulations around)
- i Have an auto, looking to take out a waaranty then drop in an m6 when it goes out as un realistic that may be

-30% tints
-H.I.D's

Any suggestions for a new owner, i will appreciate them all!

Chipping a car is silly. If you want more power, add some modifications, then get it tuned at a shop that know what they're doing. The chip was not designed for your exact vehicle, just few models that they took parameters from.

strokey crackel pop sound? I have no idea what this means. Is this perhaps G6 lingo?

If you really want manual, you might just want to go ahead and find someone that wants to trade cars or trannies. That's much cheaper.

i would get a 3600 or 4k stall and a lid if you dont have one already, then port and polish your Throttle body, then tune ..maybe a cut out and shorty headers..and a ls6 cam or a custom cam from texas speed..

1. There is no chip you can do with these cars. You can tune them.
2. Are you talking about CAI? Just do FRA mod.
3. Strokey crackel pop sound? Like muscle car lopey or choppy sound? You can get a a small cam with 114 or above LSA to dampened the lope. Or it can be tuned to idle higher therefore the idle will be smoother.

4. You can put a E-cutout atleast to get a free flowing exhaust with a cam installed.

5. A lot of people have done A4 to M6 swap here including myself. Just do the search.
