new to the forums and new to ls1's
 
Just bought my first ls1, waiting to get a better feel for it before I start the mod processes. 98 Trans am ls1 a4 ttop.

Welcome, its best to get a feel for it and also learn a few things before you start throwing money around for mods, there are alot of mods that are not worth a damn, stay away from the slp performance packages, huge waste of money, the only slp part i would buy is a lid, which you can find on craigslist pretty cheap, there under 100 new,just do alot of research before you buy, and plan ahead, do things once, that will save alot of money as well, honest if i could start all over again i would go with forced induction, welcome and be safe

Thanks and I'll definitely do research before throwing money away. Since you mention going forced induction, There is a sts turbo setup on cl close to me actually, might go ahead and pick that up for future use.

I have the same car its amazing that a 15 year old car still turns heads everywhere
