Hey there guys and gals, my name is John. I have been lurking around for some time now and really enjoy this site. Well I am a Chevy guy through and through and have built and owned a few sweet late 60's muscle cars. I miss them all very much too! Lol. Anyway, I am also an early bronco nut too. Now, it's time to **** off the ford crowd! I am installing a 5.3 out of an 01 suburban into my bronco. I want an engine and drivetrain that is reliable. I also want to use a 700R4 or a 4L60E and adapt it to my Dana20 Tcase. I have questions about the trannys. Is the 700R4 a manual tranny? As in, do I have to hook up a bunch of electrics to get it to work for me or is it like installing a TH400, just bolting it up and go? Looking forward to chatting and getting questions answered.
