New guy in Phoenix 99 z28 m6
Hey guys,
Just wanted to drop by and say whats up. Been wanting an f body since I was 16 and I finally got one at age 26 lol. Its a 99 z28 m6 with only 115k. Got it for 4,800 on craigslist. Its got a kn filter, bm shifter, hid's, aftermarket rims and that's about it. I just got it home about 20mins ago. Its in pristine condition. Not a dent or scratch on it. Super shiny original red paint and the interior is 9.5/10. I cannot be happier with it.
The only things it needs is new brake pads and a rebuild of the rear. (Its starting to whine on decel.) No biggie though. I already got a quote for $700 to completely rebuild the rear with new bearings and seals as well as axle bearings and seals. They also said, If I wanted to go with some 373's, they will install them at that time for no extra charge.
I dont have any pics right now since its dark outside, but I will take some in the morning and post them up for you guys. Just wanted to drop by and say hi for now.
Thanks,
Chris

Just took her to the track and ran her 3 times really quick. Best time was 14.28 at 100. Not bad for just an intake and a bad bearing in the rear end.
