I'm glad you got a great deal, but at the same time it sux to think mine is only worth around that... I paid $20k 9 years ago
Thanks for the welcome and I know what you mean about black!!! Lol
But I'm a little lost to what DA stands for probably something common

DA = Dual Action polisher. There are several different types, brands etc... Check out the appearance and detailing forum here there's LOADS of info. There are a few Pro-Detailers in this forum and several hobbyists like myself if you need some tips/tricks/recommendations.

Most of the time you can get a great "starter" kit with just about everything you need to get your car looking new again for about $200 - $250 sometimes less. Keep the pics coming, its a great way to document your progress.

Yeah I would have never figured that out! The car is in ok shape paint wise for 10 yrs old SS. It has chips and door dings and paint chipping off in some stops!! Torn between painting it or keepin it oringal! I wish somebody could just do a touch up, but in that case just reprint it all..

Good looking ride! I love the color, just don't like the maintaining it! Damn I feel old :-) Go enjoy it and if you happen to pick up some mods along the way, I'm sure it wouldn't mind. Perfect weather for some spirited driving! Good luck.....
