This is my first post since im new to the site. I've been snooping around for a while and my bro has been a member for some time now. He's actually the one who put the bug in my head about getting into an LS build.

So sure enough, working with an $8K budget, I bought myself an '82 Chevy K-10 short bed and an LS-6 from an 06' CTS-V. I know it'll be a monumental task to get a fully functional swap going, but im determined.

If you guys have any suggestions or advice im all ears, thanks in advance.

Sure will. It'll be slow going since I only have time on weekends.

I'm keeping the original 700R4/NP208 drivetrain the truck came with. I'll make sure it gets a good "refresh" prior to running.

Well today it came out. Old tired 350. Advanced Adapters flexplate kit ordered.
