Hi, BACK TO THE GM POWERPLANT
Hi,
My names Stu. I was told about this site by a friend of mine who has an LS1 Miata named Johhnie. He pointed me here to help with a lot of questions during my build. I admit I lurked a bit for some answers. However, I feel I should join now that I'm actually finished with the LS376 525 Motor swap in my 2005 G35 Infiniti coupe. I added this motor because its a good power plant to start with. I hooked it up to a built 4L65E from Monster Transmission. My electronics are the GM computer connect and cruise along with my Infiniti computer for the rest of the creature comforts. The trans uses a Compushift II and I connected it to my paddleshifters. I added a B&M hammer shifter for my trans control. I also installed new guages due to the CAN set up in the infiniti.
Anyways, I'll add more power later this year. Maybe the HARROP itb"s, or a blower. I'm undecided.
Heres a few pics. Enjoy.
