Hey guys, I'm LJ. Putting a 5.3 into a 1990 Camaro RS. Big into cars, guns, and women lol.

Wanting to do a 5.3/T56 into the car, but everyone seems to think the T56 should be worth two-grand (I'm a guy that won't pay that much for a used anything) so I'm most likely going to end up going AUTO so that's kind of a bummer.

My car was originally a 3.1 Auto that was well worn out. Did the body work myself, which is far from perfect, but I'm not a perfect guy so why should my car be? It's looking pretty good though. So I can't complain. Just have to repair a part of the floor pan and a couple rust spots yet then she's good to go. Some kid painted the car outside in the rain with what looks to be a paint roller, so eventually I will have it repainted, but people say it has a "Mad Max" look to it and the name kinda stuck so I might just keep it the way it is and troll on some Mustangs when it's running again.



Gonna have a lot of questions for y'all, but I'll save those for other posts!
