Did i spin/damage my novi 2000 bearings? He guys , i have a question. i have a clk430 with a novi 2000 chassis mounted kit. i have an auxiliary gear box ( helical gears) on the back with a 1.9 ratio. we also have straight cut gears. I've gone through hell and back to quiet this thing to the levels i see others operate at. we have tried different types of oil ( super thin spindle oil to super heavy gear oil) and the sound does just dampens but does not go away. in the video i'm running heavy oil. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HVYs...ature=youtu.be
