Hello from Dubai
 

Hello all. Been living here now for 8 years, and finally found my dream car here.

2006 Raven black CTS-V.

So far I have had to do some basic mods because it was a bit worn out.

So far I've done the CS engine mounts, trans mount, shifter bushings, diff bushing and cradle mounts.

Had to do a KW Var 3 because it was too low to clear the mountains that are speed bumps here.

Had to replace the center ds bearing with a VDC replacement. Did it myself. It was easy for me, but as an aviation mechanic I have access to a well stocked tool box and tool room. :)

A few other odds and ends like every recall on the car. Thankfully done at no cost to me by Liberty auto in Abu Dhabi.

I commute about an hour from Dubai to Abu Dhabi each way, so I needed a bullet proof car and so far I think it's a winner.

It's coming home with me when I leave here as its a US spec car.

I've been a long time lurker, so I finally figured I'd say hello.
