i had a 6.5 turbo diesel that finally went boom,(cracked heads),, after a few years of sitting i hauled out my old 1 -ton from the bush and pulled the diesel out and dumped in a 5.3 with 80e,, the original turbo from the 6.5 still spins really nice,, dosn't leak or have play in the bearings,, i'm curious what marrying this turbo would do to the 5.3? i'm using stock manifolds with a crossover pipe made from a 2008 caravan(pretty sure it's 2.5 inch) exhaust , and using the straight pipe exhaust from the 6.5 which is 3 inch out to the back of the rear axel,,no real high hp goals just something enough to light up the duals on my way to get groceries,,, i also have access to a cummins 5.9 turbo and a ford 7.3 turbo(don't trust this 1). Oh before i forget,,,,,Hi! lol
