Default Bored with diesels, bought a cts-v

Hello, as my title suggests, I'm just an old gearhead that seems to be changing gears.. I'm a little behind in the gasoline burning world but a nice cheap 2005 cts-v that needs a little love seemed to be a good start into catching back up. I've lurked a little and there seems to be a great deal of information that I will need to absorb so bear with me.

Welcome aboard Farmy22. You say you're bored with diesels, but what kind of diesels did you "play" with?

Well, I wouldn't say I'm completely "bored" with diesels, I still have some around. Started messing with early powerstrokes and common rail cummins and went on from there. A lot of repair and maintenance on the newer stuff but I've built about 5 engines from the ground up. More hobby than anything now but spent 10 years as a heavy equipment mechanic.
