My names Stan and I'm from Chester, North West UK.
Just installing an LS1 and TKO 600 into a Cobra kit car.
May need some advice with wiring and pcm configuration.....no, may need a lot of help with wiring and pcm configuration!!

You say you are from the UK but I don't see any accent.
I am doing a similar swap, but using a Miata rather than a kit car. Thought about it and decided I wanted a car with all the modern conveniences.
With respect to the wiring and ECU, the easy route would be for you to purchase one of the preconfigured harnesses and ECU boxes that have all the non-necessary stuff programmed out. I have been fighting the harness that came with my LS1 engine and have made the decision to go with a brand new aftermarket assembly.
Check out the internet, there are a number of places that specialize in such harnesses.
