So I've got 2 firebirds
94 lt1 t56 trans am(badass love it 2 death)
96 3800 auto
I've got big plans 4 the 96 firebird
Just picked up a 95 lt1 motor that is going to get a full treatment
First things first I'm choosing a machine shop in Albuquerque NM to deck bore/ hone my block & resurface my heads/ 16 new bronze valve guides & Manley valves, b4 that I'm going to try to blend that lip in the bowls & smooth the CC's, I may mess with the intake exhaust ports not sure yet any input is much appreciated
On my bottom end hcp5970.30 speed pro Pistons, undecided on rings
Undecided on rods but I'm doing 5.7 inch not stroking
Turned crank if I can get away with it
Clevite main brings let me know if the rear main one is 1thousands undersized heard it may be
Speed pro std vol oil pump n shaft
Fel pro oil pan gskt no oil cooler
Timing I'm getting the clones chain not sure which model feedback much appreciated
Undecided on cam, want badass mid range & top end don't want to lose out down low
Ls7 lifters
Chromoly pushrods
Scorpion 1.6's (undecided on springs)
Undecided on who to get a mail tune from I don't have a cpu with the motor but it did come with aN A4 wring harness 2 optis (mad & oem) as well as the mad blaster coil
Fuel system I'm getting is accel 30 pounders & racetronix pump & wiring kit
Going to modify the fuel lines
Long tube headers no ac/ pwr string. Alt down low
Suspension the spoon k member/ Ctrl arms
