New to the forum
Hello,
My name is Greg. Been into duramaxs for 10 years. Some of you may know me from duramaxdiesels.com. Just made the swap to my first ls 2 months ago. I bought a 2008 gmc denali 1500. Has a 6.2L in it. Lost oil pressure checked with mechanical gauge to verify. Engine is out found number 4 main out of alignment and a cam bearing that didnt look the best. Truck has 240k. Im pretty new to these new ls series engines, so bare with me if i ask some nieve questions. Block is currently at the machinist and should be ready for pick up any day. So far i have purchased Morel Lifters and k398x7 wiseco -3.2cc pistons. Also had a valve seat come loose at one point in time which luckily didnt do any major damage. Thats where im at so far and hope to learn as much as i can from you knowledgeable fellows.

Thanks guys, I have decided to keep vvt as I want the torque on the low end. Been thinking almost committed to buying Texas speed stage 3 vvt truck cam. May just wait until after PRI maybe something will show up and make me go a different route.
