Greetings From Tucson Arizona!
Hello all,
My name is Jose, I live in Tucson Arizona and I just bought an LQ9 equipped Cadillac Escalade (2002) at auction for $1900. I bought it to put the LQ9 into my wifes 1980 Z28 Camaro. The Escalade came with 230k miles on it but its in surprisingly good shape. Theres no ticking knocking or smoking. I want to rebuild the motor before it goes in the Z28 in addition to a stoker kit and cam. Id like to build it with future plans of boosting it 15 psi down the road, once its already in the car and running well. Id also like to make it run on E85 at the track.
My main toy is a 2010 335i BMW that I track a few times a year, it ran in the high 12s and havent ran it since as I am in the middle of tuning it after a turbo upgrade.
Im glad to join the community of the LS world, I hope to make some new friends and learn more about these great powerplants! Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Cheers!
