New to the forum, building a 4.8l turbo s10 Hey everyone my names Carter and i am new to the forum so I figured id introduce myself. Im in Billings Mt and i am in the process of building a turbo 4.8l and swapping it in my 84 chevy s10. The engine had 485k on it so i reringed it, added some studs and now im trying to decide on what cam to put in it. Either a triple 12 or one of the new summit pro ls turbo cams. Planning on using the On3 7665 turbo, decapped factory injectlors, Fitech 70050 standalone system, stock van intake, 308 gears and the aluminum top SM465 four speed manual. Anyone have any tips? Also, where do i get the triple 12? And where do i continue with the build thread ?
