hey guys. i'm zac. i just bought a White 1998 Z28 T-Tops and 6-Speed yesterday. i'll try to get a pic in my banner soon. i think i got a pretty good deal on it. it has 125k on it but the motor is spotless and the interior only has very minor things that i have already fixed. The clutch fells strong and the transmission shifts about as good as it can with that stupid stock shifter. It's completely stock. i payed 6482 with the taxes on the tag included. what do you guys think??? good deal or did i get ripped?

sounds ok....just keep checking for leaks around the seals and expoect oil usage...its normal on even low mileage ls1's. I add a quart about every 2K. Welcome to the board!

Welcome Zac may I suggest you first Mods? Get a High flow Lid and a cut-out. Well worth it' PM me if you have any questions.

thanks guys. of course, if you can think of any mods that i should do then pm me or just post them here. i think the first thing is gonna be a pro 5.0 shifter though and then some exhaust. anything that you have done and has given you good preformance for the price let me know. thanks again.... :drive:

sounds pretty good to me
i got my 98 formula with 122k on it for 7K and it came with all the mods in my sig

got some new pics. sorry there look bad the batteries in my digital camera were dead so i had to use me phone. i took off my Z28 emblems today. two of them were already started before i bought it so i figured i would go sleeper. i think i'm gonna take the red bow tie off the back also. just didn't have time today.

Welcome man, kind of cool to make it a sleeper, should susprise some people.

Stay with the sleeper idea. I am at war with myself. Performance vs Appearance
the money only goes so far. :)

Thanks i think i'm will. for a while it was up between a sleeper or the old style emblems but i think i like it looking like it does. That's the way i am right now. i want to get a new system but i know i should do the exhaust and shifter and alot of that stuff first but it's still a hard decision to make. :bang: :nono: :confused:
