I'm new!
 

Hello all,

My name is Bill and I am from Clayton NC. I bought my 99SS from a member of this site (link) I love the car and really glad to be back in a F-body.
Previous Fbod's include a 99 and 97 Convertible Z's (wife's) 97 SS and a 93 Z28. Outside of Fbod's I have had just about everything including family sedans, Jeeps and an EVO. Obviously I have returned to my GM roots and I am loving every minute of it. Spent 8 years in the Marine Corps and now I sell HVAC parts and equipment.
Thanks for putting up such an informative site...looking forward to contributing my part and getting to know some of you.

Welcome back the good ole American Muscle! I to am in the Armed forces, i am a PFC in the Army MP corps. I am currently stationed in Korea. Welcome to the boards. All the people here are very helpful in everything about F bods.

welcome, but a word of warning. The car may seem fast at first, then you'll want to modify it, and that's a train pushed downhill with little chance of stopping :D

Been down that road already with the 97. I still have the 383, heads and intake that I am trying to sell from that car. I think the 99 will have to stay like it is for a while...HA :jest: yeah whatever....I've already put my old 12 bolt in and bought an LS6 intake. So much for buying a modded car to avoid having to buy a bunch of stuff.
