G'day From Down Under

I go by the name of Johnno or Oztriker, from Sydney, Australia. My ride is a little different to some in that it has 1 less wheel. All the mechanicals are completed & it has been tested at a local race track. The body is still under construction.(I'm guessing another 4 weeks) I have been involved in building trikes for many years, and it seemed like a good idea at the time to go one step further and build one around an LS1 powerplant.(I had no idea what I was getting myself into!) I wish I had known about this site years ago and I might still have retained some of my hair.Yep, thanks to all the trauma of trying to cram that beautiful LS1 engine between my legs,I have joined the ranks of the follically challenged. It was almost impossible to get the technical information I needed here in OZ,cause you tell people what you are planning to do and they just look at you funny. I could have saved myself so much angst if I had accessed the info on this site. Anyway,a brief description of my ride. I am running a shortened powerglide transmission, mated to a Skyline suspension including Skyline diff. with a 3.9 ratio. The whole trike is just a little under 11 foot long and weighing just a little over 750kg's has a little bit of get up and go, but I really need to do something about that ratio because it limits the top speed to about 144mph. Also at my age wheelstanding down the road with a V8 motor above my head is not an experience that I ever want to repeat.( have photos to prove it,not to mention stained undies but you probably don't want to see them.)
Still, now we have an LS7 engine to consider. LS7-750 kg trike. Nah, no way. That would be crazy, wouldn,t it? I WONDER?

Cheers from Downunder, and I am looking forward to rapping with you guys.
