Young and Hungry to Work

Hey my name is Alex. Im from northern New Jersey and im 17 years old. I have been working on my 1969 camaro for a long time now with my dad and i dont love anything more than cars. Anything with motors has always interested me and i love to figure out how things work and also how to make them work BETTER. Our camaro is turning out really nice and i owe it all to my dad for teaching me and having the faith in me to really do things on my own with little guidance. I know this car in and out now iand could probably put it together or take it apart myself. Im a senior in high school and graduating in late june. Im going to be going into the NAVY special forces(SWCC) and im going to be enlisting as a mechanic. Ever since watching guys like Chip Foose and beign exposed to the classic car scene, i have been mezmorized. I am lookin for a job with anyone near Bergen County New Jersey. I am a great worker and i am hungry to learn everything i can before i go to the NAVY because when i come back i hope to start my own business. If anyone is near me and has a shop i would love to come and work. I just love learning more about the industry and i am willing to work really hard because i love these cars. Thank alot for your time, Alex.

tech school

My co-worker's son graduated from a tech school in Houston last summer. He was recruited by a Mercedes dealership. He is 20, doing what likes and making money. Schools are all about getting out what you put in. My2cents. ;)

Also look at the University of Northwestern Ohio (where i currently attend)

Has anyone heard of Dave Morgan? yes, that is our steering and suspension teacher. They teach you what you need to know for the normal dealer/shop work and then once your good at that, they teach you the racing aspect. If you want to learn more about it, PM me and i will give you more information as they are not a sponsor.
