New to the forum.....and LS1's
 

hi folks, i recently made the switch to 'new school' power. i just let go of my last (for now) muscle car (71 455 trans-am) and sold my c4 convertable and jumped into a sebring silver c5 beauty. i bought it from a buddy who stepped up to a c6. when he had it, he bolted on a few parts to the tune of 12.50's. i plan to continue with just a few upgrades to knock down the et's into the 11.90's. having owned several muscle cars, i am simply amazed with this car. it's more like a car than a 'vette. im 6'3" and sit comfortably in this car. my c4 made me a little claustrophobic and the power just wasn't there. anyhoodle, im happy to have made the switch and look forward to getting to know the folks on this forum. :)

forum rules....gotta love 'em. i havent read them yet, are they pretty much the norm, or do they get a little wacky??
just out of curiosity, how well are the posts monitored? ive been on a couple of forums that let a LOT of b.s. fly, i personally dont care, i just want to know what to expect.

But they're pretty good about monitoring too.
