i'm new need to ask some????

need to know how to post pics

WS6 Rampage Sep 26, 2006 08:41 PM

Go to www.photobucket.com and creat an account. Its free! Then it'll ask you to upload pics from your computer. Load em up and then your gonna have 3 options,.URL,Tag and IMG. I personally use IMG. Copy and paste IMG into the text section of where you'd post your replys and your done.

Awsome! F.Y.I. though,..have someone hold onto the hood with a firm girp if you use a saw-zaw. You could risk warping the hood if you don't.

ummmm...that isn't quite the size for a 'signature' so I'll redirect you to the FAQ on this forum about them.
Signature Testing & Designs
This will be of course after it dissapears from admin for being oversized.

WS6 Rampage Sep 27, 2006 01:09 PM

I forgot to mention that to him. Shit!

logsws6 Sep 27, 2006 01:11 PM

sorry guys didn't know what i was doin

WS6 Rampage Sep 27, 2006 01:16 PM

Basically,...whats gonna happen is that your sig is gonna get removed soon. What you wanna do and what I forgot to mention to you is that your gonna need to resize your pic. Thats why if you look at mine and everyone else's sig,.. it's somewhat smaller.

Sorry about that.

logsws6 Sep 27, 2006 01:19 PM

how do i go about that

WS6 Rampage Sep 27, 2006 01:30 PM

Well,...I know that for me,..when I hit "SAVE AS" my computer gives me options as to its size such as,.25%,50%,75%,100% and Best For Web. I just choose best for web.

I know that on my Mac it was so much easier tho. All I had to do was adjust the number of pixals and I was done. I'm work'n of my band-aid computer (DELL) right now while my Mac is get'n fixed.

Most photo editing programs let you resize photo.. you can download some free ones off the internet.. I know googles' Picasa program lets you.

WS6 Rampage Sep 27, 2006 01:45 PM

While all this may be true. from what I can see,.....He wasn't using it as his signature tho. He was just posting up a pic.

Hey logsws6,........ jsut so that you know,.......posting up pics this size is fine. I see many people do it and never have issues.
But,....
If you wanna use this or any other pic as a signature,....THEN you'll need to resize it.

WS6 Rampage Sep 27, 2006 01:49 PM

F.Y.I.
If you want a signature,...look at the top left. You'll see "User CP". click on that and it'll take you to a new page. Left side bar will give you a signature option. Thats when you'll need to resize a pic down to something like my signature size.

Sorry for the confussion.

logsws6 Sep 28, 2006 10:26 AM

logsws6 Sep 28, 2006 10:33 AM

once again with hopefully this time a smaller pic

logsws6 Sep 28, 2006 10:37 AM

i went to photobucket ....... resized my pic ..to a 100/75 ...copy and paste to sig.and still came up as the same size as the one above....now i went back to resize for the 3rd time and it won't let me change the size at all
