Welcome

I lived in New Boston(next to Portsmouth) for 19 years

Nice looking bird. I did the same thing as you. I had a 99 firebird for a while until I was able to muster up enough money to buy my WS6. The LS1 will come soon enough.

Thanks guys! yeah im just a poor college kid right now! its frustrating though, but an f-body even a v6 is MUCH better than none!! its still a blast to drive and just cruise in!!

College student here too. Here are my previous V6 F-body's that I absolutely loved!

Z28/2002-- I passed close to portsmouth (New Baltimore or some shit) on my way to Wilmington, NC for vacation last year with a few of my friends. streets are confusing as hell down there i thought. beautiful scenery on the backroads though

The Firebird had the W68 package (ground effects) and the Y87 package (performance package). I bought the hood off of a member on here for $500 in pretty decent shape, it was a Gm hood.

BLU BIRD 04-14-2008 10:36 AM

i want to get the hood so bad but 500, which seems to be the going rate, is just too much for me right now. what did the w68 cost or was it already on the car?

Save your money and put that $500 towards your LS1 :)

The w68 package came on the car. I know it's insanely expensive to buy from a dealership.
