Hi, Felix, I hope you don't mind me bothering you but I'm desperate. I saw what you wrote in a post regarding the 4L80 and the fact that it's basically been around since the 60's as the TH400. Anyway I have not been able to use my van and I'm a contractor. Reason being good old 4L80E. When I start van it will go in every gear but! the minute it hits operating temp. it wont go just revs engine. Any I deas on what it could be?
I'm guessing it needs to be rebuilt or even a good used. I saw a comment you made to someone about getting them 2 for like 500 each. If you could find me a used or rebuilt for a fair price maybe between 500 and 1,000 rather keep it cheaper so I could pay for shipping. Depends on where in FL you are my kids live down there I have no problem with a used if you say its in good shape. Could you please let me know if you can help find me one.
