Problems with GMMG...

Problems with GMMG... Well, I order my cat back from them about a month and a half ago. Sent the money via PayPal and then got an email shortly after stating that the cat backs were on backorder. Didn’t really have a problem with it at first, I waited a couple of weeks and shot them an email just checking to see if there was any news. I got a response saying no word yet and they asked what my shirt size was because they were going to send me a free shirt for waiting. I replied and then waited two more weeks…I once again shot them an email and never got a response, it’s been about two weeks now. I’ve tried calling and emailing, I can’t really do much more. They have my money and I still don’t have my exhaust. I thought they were supposed to have GREAT customer service?
Anyone else having problems with them?

Or is there anyone that lives close to their shop that could like go beat on a door for me or something? I don't want to lose all that money... lol

I had the same problem with them in October. I had to wait 2 months for my GMMG catback. They sent me a t-shirt also for waiting, but I did what you did and kept on sending emails weekly asking for an update.

That sucks, I hope you get your money/exhaust. I hope GMMG is doing alright, I dont see how they can't get these things out, at $750 a peice I would be making them as fast as people were buying them. I am hoping to order their exhaust for my car by the end of the summer.

Coming up on close to three months of waiting here...also asked for my shirt size and said that they would let me know when things would get moving again. i guess its a problem with the supplier that they get their build materials from?? but i cant go a day without checking my e-mail, waiting and hoping for a update. i would ask for my money back but i dont want any other exhaust except for GMMG so i would be doing myself no good.

I'd be on the same boat as you but I e-mailed them before ordering and they replied that the parts were on backorder and they had no clue when they would get them. Sad though cause I really wanted that exhaust. Hope everything works out for ya though thats quite a bit of cash to be out of with nothing to show for it.

I say you deffinitely wait it out if you want it as bad as i do. Its not like they are going to take your money and run. they are a well known and respected company, just having some issues with backorder right now. Personally ill wait as long as it takes, i just cant settle for anything less after all the research that i have done.

Glad I went to their shop and had them do the install. That was years ago though. I say it is worth the wait. Mine with QTP headers:

ok, well got an email today after about two weeks, and she said they were getting the stuff next week, then takes about a week to make it so to be safe i should expect it in 3 weeks.
