Rob @ Modular Turbo I talked to Rob about getting set up with a turbo and wastegate, sounded good so I sent out a Postal Money Order the next day.
3/11 Sent payment Priority Mail. Didn't receive a PM/email or call that the money arrived.
3/24 Called to see what was up. Money order had been placed on the back burner because he had small banks in his town and couldn't cash it? Maybe he can elaborate on this. I could have payed through Paypal but I figured, why not save this guy the 3%
3/30 turbo came in. It was the correct one, no problems. Wastegate came in a couple days later, same thing it was the one I ordered.
You know how it is with your project car. You get parts in, go to work, then try to get more stuff ordered so you always have stuff to be working on. I could not start to build the turbo kit until this turbo showed up.
So he apologized for the wait and promised to hook me up on my next order. I was like sweet, thanks a lot that would make up for it. So I PM him on 4/20 telling him a few things I need, and only expecting a discount, he is going to just sent me them for free. Perfect.
4/21 I give him my shipping address.
4/30 I ask him where the parts are. The answer I got was basically "I forgot about it."
5/5 Parts finally show up
In no way am I bashing this sponsor, he seemed like a good guy. Just posting my experience as that's what this section is for. And I would buy from him again, good prices- just be sure to remind him the day after you send payment otherwise your order might slip through the cracks.
