Not bad considering what a sleeved AL block costs.

What was wrong with them? They are a sponsor so feel free to post a thread in the Sponsor Feedback section. Hopefully, you've given them a chance to make it right first...

We are still currently working on getting these blocks finished up. So no test results as of now. Right now, we have the standard deck blocks about ready to go. Tall decks will be released shortly after. I will do a detailed write up when we officially release these blocks!

Slogo - I am not familiar with your situation but shoot me a PM with some details and lets make you a happy customer again!

Purchased LS7 heads off of eBay from cbm, exhaust valves were not a matched set, and
the intake valves, Richard at WCCH said he would not use. So I purchased all new valves.
Exhaust are Ferrea, Intake are stock Del West Titanium. The valves added another chunk
to the original purchase.
No I did not call cbm, got them off of eBay. Is it my fault for not calling? Or is it my fault
for going to eBay thinking I could get away with a good set of cheap heads from a company I have never heard of? Yep and Yep. My LS7 head experience...

So you just didn't like the valves? There wasn't anything actually wrong with the heads?

But just because WCCH wouldn't use them doesn't mean they're no good. WCCH told me the same thing about my mast black label heads. Sent the heads to mill 67/68 cc. How did they screw that simple job and mill them down to 64cc? Yea world class work

I'm sure they were just trying to up sell the job by making you buy new valves.

Well when I buy heads, that are supposed to
be ready to bolt on, and have to buy new valves.
Yep that's part of the heads.
Like saying I purchased a short block ready to
top off, but the bearings are installed with nicks
on the cam bearings from not being tight on
the install tool, but it's not the block.
It was not me who didn't like the valves, it was Richard at WCCH, he is a sponsor as well.
I took the valves out, I do not have shop support
at home, looked at them and heads reassembled, put em in s box, and shipped.
So we can nitpick this all day long, but I purchased new valves for a set of heads that
we're ready to bolt on, from cbm.
So do you think Richard at WCCH is lying to
his customers about valves which could tell
we're a mixed set just by looking, we know
about the particulars on the LS7 valves.

Maybe I was not clear about valves, the intake valves were factory titanium, Richard said were
no good, I replaced with the same, so it wasn't
I just wanted different, same with exhaust.

You're dragging someone's name through the mud and you haven't really even explained what was wrong or provided details of the transaction.

I would hope you were smart enough to get a better explanation from Richard before dropping close to $1k on new valves, and then proceed to bash another sponsor over it. You didn't even bother to call CBM, sponsor or not, to try to remedy the problem before posting. That in itself is a dick move.

I'm nitpicking this because as a Moderator, I need to decide if this is a real issue and keep the thread open or move it to the Feedback section, or if I need to lock or delete it because you have no credible complaint and it's just slander.

Richard said the titanium valves were ground
and said he would not use them, as in I will not
do the work with these valves,
And yes there was a conversation.
I purchased these with the understanding to
bolt em on and go. My plan was to use more
cam, so I knew springs needed to be upgraded
to match, off to WCCH for upgrades, get the call
about valves, told him to do it. So with me being
a dick, I figured if a company would sell heads
with improperly ground titanium valves, and a mixed set of exhaust valves, there wouldn't
be any chance of getting good valves out of
them. So I left it alone and called it a lesson.

Slogo - I am sorry that you had problems with the heads you got from us. First problem is that you never brought this up to us. If we don't know something was wrong, how are we supposed to fix it? We would have had no problem swapping you out with either another set of heads or another set of valves at no cost to you. Please give us a call so we can work something out with you. I don't care if this transaction was a week ago or a year ago, we will help you out still!

This is decent of you, not sure what can happen
now. These was going to be just a get it going
set till the mast 295 cathederal came in, after all
the work Richard put in them , I now have a set
of $5500.00 factory heads, with purchase price
included. So I cancelled the order with mast,
and got my down payment back. And now have
2 brand new 102 fast intakes, a truck cathederal
and LS7, wish there was a way to make a truck
LS7, the top of cathederal fits LS7 bottom, but
no runners. What's the number and name who
I should call?
