Default Anyone waiting for FMS?

I ordered a cam on 4/16 and it hasn't shipped yet. I called them within the first week and they said it would take around 10 days before it shipped...thats cool. So I called them last week and they said it would ship by the end of the week (4/30).

I call them today, and they say it will ship at the end of this week. I'm wondering if I call them next week, will they tell me it will ship at the end of next week? It's been 18 days and my cam/springs havent shipped yet.

I sure hope all of their shipping times arent 2+ weeks...anyone else had this problem?

I'm not sure if this applies to you or not, but I know FMS had some issues getting their hands on certain components for the valvespring kits. I do believe they alerted everyone up front that it may take a while. Something to consider is that their supplier gives them a date, which FMS then tells you. If the date the supplier gave to FMS is inaccurate, then FMS looks bad and you think its their fault. Businesses don't always have the luxury of 'blaming' others for things like that. They just eat it and move on. Have patience!! I've NEVER heard of FMS screwing anyone over.

No, no, i dont think they are trying to screw me over by any means. I was just wondering if this wait is normal, or if everyone else got theirs faster.

It's normal. Just depends on certain times and circumstances, like supply. I know I got my F11 very quick, but it's not the F13, which everyone and their grandma wants.

Josh,
We were told by our cam supplier that we are on about a 10 day wait right now, we have been communicating that to our customers. We were told that we were getting cams in Friday and did get some F13's in but none of them were the one that you ordered. I have a F13 cam in stock but its a 112+2 not the 112+4 like you ordered. I will contact you to see if you would like to change your order or continue to wait.

Thanks

My FM14 ran a lil late due to a backup on the retainers, but I got mine last wednesday and FMS promptly replied to any of my inquiries!!
