I am still waiting on an ARE refund and wondering if there any updates in the last month or so. Last time I heard from Nick was mid march about my refund. He stated that he needed about 3 more week so he could finish up some things. That was fine, but now we are beyond that I am just following up.

Why not call Nick directly and ask him. I know that he has been clearing up the backlog and a lot of guys are finished up.

Unless you talk to him directly, this thread can only serve to stir up more ****. If you tried calling him first and got an answer, then you would be in your place to post up. Personally I think that if you haven't called and dealt directly first you really shouldn't be throwing a general question in the air. There's only one person that can answer you and he's not here.

Nick has made a decent size dent in the restitution we agreed upon.

I talked with him yesterday morning and he told me that we should be settled up by the end of next week.I would be done now but I held up things making a decision on my camshaft selection.

I think that he will follow through with our deal.

He can be difficult to get ahold of sometimes,but I doubt he's going to renege on your deal SIR.

I would take Paul's advise and give him a call.

Calm down warbird. It is a simple question and I did not imply anything.
I have called, but he is difficult to get ahold of. I have had good luck with posting and email.
Also, he is here, he was last active on 5/4/05.

I really am not worried, I fully believe he will follow through. I am not stirring up ****, just a simple inquiry.

SIR, no problem I'm not in need of calming. My comment was not directly pointed at you. I was really hoping to keep the volume down. I'm in the same boat as you and Dave, things are taking longer than I'd like however they are coming through and getting it done. Sorry if I came on too strong.

The new ARE is a very different place, much better and slowly coming back. They still have some issues to sort out but day by day it gets better and they are coming around. On the bright side they are not running away from the past but learning from it and improving on it.

After emailing him regarding Ahmad's Incon deposit(remember them?), he has never heard anything back.

Figure its worth one more shot if he is serious about this restitution bit.
