I guess I missed out on that great customer service.
I had to shell out quite a bit to replace the oversized springs that they used in the first revision of their 5.3L heads. The rocker arms were pushing against the side of the springs/retainers. The problem was well known by PP (as they started using tapered springs in the next revision) but the customers who purchased the faulty setup were never notified. After replacing them I contacted PP to find out what the deal was. They said they knew about the issue and that if I had contacted them first, they *might* have been able to help. Wasn't that convenient?
