Default Amp install - what to use for remote turn on?

Did a quick search but couldn't find what I was looking for. What's the best/closest remote turn on source for a trunk mounted amp? Looks like the Monsoon amp doesn't have one...

Thanks,
Mark

The monsoon amp must have had an accessory power source...and that's what you need to tap into. Whatever wire went to it that was on with the key....tap that one.

I only know the pinout for the amps on the 06mcss you'll need to find one for the GXP then you'll be able to figure out which one is the power lead.
If someone tells me its exact model type i might be able to find a pinout

Thats not a sure way of doing it. Some wires can cause modules to remain running while the car is powered off if you tap into them.

Thanks guys. I finally found an empty slot on the fuse block that is switched with the ignition. I clipped a spade connector to fit into the slot and I'm good to go!

In case anyone needs to know in the future, it's the slot directly beneath the sunroof fuse.
