Stb's Installed

I finally got around to installing my STb's today. They've been back from the powder caoters for a while,I've just been swamped. Well here are a few pics.BTM, please don't pay any attention to the dirty engine bay.Like I said I've been swamped and haven't had a lot of spare time on my hands.

Ive found that my trans dip stick will touch the front stb and rattle in 4 cyl mode. I just put some two side ed foam tape there for now, i will do something else that looks better when I get time.

Oh that's what that was. I had my son in the garage reving the engine a little while I searched for that damn rattle. Thanks for that heads up, the rattle was starting to drive me in same.

Very nice. How's she handle? Much difference in body role on the on/off ramps?

Looks great, any difference?

TML529 Apr 28, 2009 03:06 PM

Yes there is a difference. I can feel less body roll when making quick maneuvers and yes on the curvy on/off ramps also. It was a mod well worth the money.

Good to hear!

I was looking to do the samething when I get mine, I was wondering how much did it cost you to get yours powdercoated and how many days did it take? Also wondering, did you just leave the brackets the way they are or did you paint/powdercoat them silver

I got my Stb's powdercaoted for $40 bucks at a place called Lo-co Powder Coating in oak Lawn Ill. I left the bracket in bare aluminun, although I am wondering if I should've had some sort of coating put on them just to protect the metal.
