Was wondering how many LS4's we have in springfield? I was thinking about getting together for a track day if anyone is intrested.

Looking at the raceway schedule September 10th or 11th looks really good. Street Machines and Street Rod Shootout & Show are going on thursday thru Sunday.

What do you have for a track down there?

We have Ozark International Raceway. The track stays in pretty good shape with the new owners. Their website is ozarkdragstip.com if you want to checkout the schedule

Add me to the list. I have yet to run the GXP but have ran my older GTP three or four times at the track. Been a few years now that it needs to be a reliable daily driver but I wouldn't mind running the GXP to see what it can do

what did your GTP run ?

I have run into a dilemma for the street machines show. There is next to no test n' tune time open with qualifying and jet cars and nitro car runs. It will be a great show but not much time for us to run. We could try some other weekend but it will be one hell of a show. What do you fellas think

If I remember right the best it ever ran was 14.004 a few years back. I know it was 14.00 something because I was so close to getting into the 13's. Not that fast but I don't have much for mods on it anyway. I was running race gas that night but I still had the spare tire and subs in the car. I like to think if I had removed those I could have been in the 13's. Now that I have heavier 18 wheels I am sure the car is a good amount slower now.

Ahh thats sucks I know the feeling. I was always looking for a 14 sec pass and never got it with my camaro v6 and now its a LS1 so I expect much better then a 14 sec pass.
