What kind of lifetime warranty on the pads? A wear warranty or a manufacturer warranty against defects? Unless you paid top dollar for those pads (which you obviously didn't), I seriously doubt they have a wear warranty.

Brake pads et al. are all wear items and should be treated as such. Never purchase a wear item anticipating a new pair/set, once it "runs out," due to a lifetime warranty. Ridiculous, lol.

Also, not everyone can get the military discount.
