For the BOOSTED folks...some Q's Seems like every time I want to sell the car I either can't get rid of it for a decent price out here or on the other hand not much beats it's value for money and I don't feel like paying more for a 8-10 year old high mileage C5 or a 6-4 year old GTO. For those of you who are boosted. Half shafts? No issues with those breaking yet? Or have you upgraded the wheel studs so they don't sheer off at the track launching on slicks? Has anyone had to rig up a racetronix kit or are you getting enough fuel? I know the trans would be a good of change to get done. Anyone have the GM racing torsen diff? I'm trying to think of all the odds & ends that may come with boosting this sucker. |
Also, 08+ LS4's use the E67 ECM and the T42 TCM correct? |
right off the bat I can tell you that shearing off your wheel studs should be the last thing you worry about. A nicely built trans and converter should suit your needs. |
they dont sell the gm racing torsen diff anymore |

Suspension travel limiters? How about lowering the front on SSC springs, leave the rear @ stock height using lmiters to try and keep the front down? Haha |

Yeah, for track use in specific & not for daily driving purposes. I dunno, just blurting out random ideas that come. Getting desperate to get moving. |
