alright we have had a few runs now and i seem to always win by a car or so . my wife has a gxp with a custom pvc hai (3 inch), and a downpipe that goes back to the y. my car is a 2004 mustang gt vert, with a jlt cai, 410 gears, o/r x pipe, and catback, and short throw. the question is what do you guys think the out come will be after shes hp tuned with the 3 inch cutout...where going to be doing a few rolls with me in 2nd and her in 1st (because of my 410s)...also going to try a low 1st gear roll....so??

bro 2vs arnt that slow if you know how to drive them, this last time i raced her it was from 35-40 roll i was at the top of second, 410s really really wake up the stangs, and i have a sct tuner buts its just a bs email tune...when i get nittos ill be doing low 1st gear rolls or digs (right now 1st is useless on the stock tires, which are pretty bald lol)

it stinks thought beacuse a good roll for you guys in 1st puts me in second lol.

I ran a guy from a dig to about 100 in a 2V Mustang and lost 3 times in a row by about a car length each time. He said it was a bolt car with 4.10s and ran a 13.4 with drag radials.

yea that sounds about right depending on what his actual bolt ons where...im anxious and excited, ill post a vid of us running with her just leaving it in drive lol..i kind of jumped on her because i heard the gxp start to downshift on the 2nd honk lol...also i didnt have the cai, or tuner yet and was running 87 octane...not to bad..she uses the tap shift now lol

I raced a 2v 99 Gt with 4.10's, slicks, headers, cai, pulleys, and exhaust. He got a 13.50@101 to my all stock 14.06@98.7. My best to date is a 13.98 all stock. I haven't gone with my new mods but I'm guessing with tuning I'd get a 13.5@105 with 2.0 60ft times. Maybe even a 13.2. With a tune your wife's, car should put down about 260ish fwhp.
It's pretty cool, to see that your wife, is willing to race.
What do you think of her car?

i got her into the gxp and started showing her pics and stats of the gxp, and i found one we went to see it she fell in love lol, i like the car alot to be honest i would have got one my self but figured ill get the mustang so we can have some ford vs gm battles lol....also i believe that mustang driver cant drive. more than a few people have gone high 12s on a similar set up...as a matter a fact the best ive seen with similar mods on slick was 12.6 @ 106

also this is a good comparison to show you how well 410s really help. the car/mustang in the middle lane is me mods at the time where 410s, xpipe, cat back, short throw, camera car is a mustang gt 2v with intake,tb,plenum,diablo tuner,exhaust,pullys, and stock gears, he is also a hard top....we went from 30-35 i was in 1s gear and he was in 2nd lol

My buddy at work has a 02 Stang, intake, x-pipe, exhaust, 4.10's and ran 13.1 @ 108 on a cold night. He averages 13.3-13.4 @ 103-104. We went from 30-100 and he pulled less than a carlength.

Small motor with only 2 valves, and if it wasn't for the mad.. mad.. aftermarket support, then they would all still be runing like ***. The 4V's and 3V's kick ***. Espically, the new 5.0!
Every once in a while I get to beat the 3V's and sometimes get beat.

yeh stock gearing sucks......he just got 4.10s....if i had a stang, thats the first mod i would get for sure. but i'm a gm girl, so that won't happen HA!
