Hit the limiter on the Dyno at 160 mph. I hit 152 on a desert freeway with two other people in the car. It felt more smooth than the 2010 SS at 150, which surprised the hell out of me.

I've had it 130+ more than I can count on one hand. Fun car for sure!

I have only been just over 100mph once. My torque steering is a little out of control because I have a rear wheel in the front. I'm all over the place, so I try to back it down. The new front wheel will be here this week, so my 100mph may change very soon!

I think I've hit 110 in the Impala a few times, but haven't felt the need to push beyond that.

In my younger days, IT WAS ON. Around 1989 or 1990, I had an 88 Pontiac GTA that I saw 147 in with light mods. As mentioned earlier in this thread, it was solid and stable. The car probably had another 10 mph in it, but I backed out because of the noise. You see, 3rd gen F-bodies had problems with the side window glass pulling away from the weather stripping at speeds of around 120-125 because of the air pressure differential between the inside and outside of the car. My GTA got very loud when this would happen, making high speed runs not very much fun.

Oh, and fastest ever for me? Pegged the speedo in my heads/cam/longtube header 99 Camaro SS. This was somewhere in Missouri during the 2001 Hot Rod Power Tour. Was racing a blown LT1 Z28 that pushed me pretty good until about 135-140. I'm guessing we hit about 175 or so.

I got it tuned just outside the city. A shop named, "Injection Connection"
Showed an extra 8hp and 12tq

You really need to get to the Wing Bowl here in Philly. I've gone the last 3 years, it's a good time. I was doing about 50mph on the way back.

So she went to the menu and looked, the speed was right on then she seen the top speed and started giving me ****. I told her the fastest I’ve had the car going was 120 maybe 130. All of a sudden she says…crap that was me. All of a sudden its not a big deal? Mmmm

My GPS says "Max Speed 218 mph" Don't know where it got that from but I was playing my it the other day and noticed that, I would take a pic but it's in L.A. right now.

EDIT: I pulled 130 twice last night, once showing off for a passenger, running a stock '96 Civic hatchback that we convinced my car was JUST a 3.8 liter (he even started my car and revved it up, and said, "Man, it sounds like a V8, but most big V6s do." And the second running a modded Mitsubishi Starion, from a dig I put about 3 lengths on him, but from a 40 roll, he stayed beside me till about 70 and fell back to about a foot behind me til 100, them I pulled a bit from there.

Had my Honda CBR 1000 RR crotch rocket up to 185, but the Impala was barried at 140 and still climbing, then a white car, with cherry's and blueberry's was on a side road so then it was get away time, like he even had a chance, those weak *** v6 chargers!!!
