Default Swapping my rockers this weekend - what else do i need

I just bought a set of Crane Gold Race Extruded Rocker Arms 1.8 ratio from Summit. I'm having them shipped overnight so I can put them in Saturday. What else am I going to need? I know some of these newer cars have rubber seals instead of gaskets, so I just want to check with what else I'll need to swap these out before I have it pulled apart and need something. Thanks.

Should be it. 3 bolts on each VC. old ones come off, new ones on and then set them.

Do I need valve cover gaskets? Or are they just the rubber seals that are re-useable?

Rubber O-rings. They'll be fine to re use.

Just got a call from Summit, they gave me the wrong part number, the one they gave me was $400, the one I need is the kit which is $850, looks like this is on hold....$850 to gain 15hp, seems a little steep.

You can go with these. These are a GREAT rocker. And the price is just where you wanted it. No other parts needed with these either. These 2 options are the ones I was considering until I found a set of SLP's for 200.00.

That's not correct. Some members do oil restricted pushrods, but I haven't heard of any problems with 1.8s and stock springs.

Makes no sense to me why you would spend $350+ to do a half *** job spend the extra $60 or so and buy some ls6 springs. Also I thought the use of an oil restrictive push rod was to help keep the lifter pumped up at higher rpm correct me if I am wrong please.

I didn't say it wasn't a good idea, but the OP wanted to know if he needed them. Plenty of members have been running 1.8s without them with no problems. And you are correct about the OR pushrods.
