New to LS4's
I recently aquired a 2007 Impala SS LS4 engine/tranny, but it will be a while before I start tearing into the LS4 for cam/headers/intake upgrades and mounting it to the F40 6 speed manual.

I have been researching the Fiero/LS4 swaps for quite some time and I think there are 5 of 6 completed swaps so far with the assistance of GMTuners.com, westcoastfieros.com and fieroaddiction.com supplying some of the swap parts and ecm tuning.

Most of the completed swaps were installed in near stock form with the the 4T65e-HD and factory exhaust manifolds. I want to perform some upgrades (375+ whp), run a manual transmission (already past that hurdle), and build a set of headers for mine. The other challange will be to keep DoD operational with the manual transmission. From researching the 07 Impala FSM, there are only 3 tranny related functions that inhibit DoD engagement. Still unsure if I would be better off keeping the TCM and spoofing it, or if I can do it diretly to the ECM... back to do more research...
