Got any tips? GXP-Miller and I will be catchin' some Gs, next weekend. Will our trannies explode if we leave it in first?

Never done Auto-x, but in the curves I usually leave it in 2nd. Powerband is just right at 60-100.

This is gonna be a tight course, not gonna see over 60 much.

That is a Mitsubishi Starion/Dodge Conquest.

Yessir, he's got 2, only that one runs, the other's getting a V8.

You have to remember that this is a heavy car although it handles okay for a large GM car. Top speed is not the object of the course but you need to keep the car in balance and sweep it through the curves. Brake slightly early because this car will under steer like crazy if you are on the brakes hard and trying to turn. It just does not work lol.
My trans survived the auto x but it was not to happy about going 14 times lol.

It'll only be a total of 6 times for mine. :)

I don't plan on seeing over 45, and thanks for the tip. :D

^ True. I just meant hanging around 4-5K for about a minute, lol. Was kinda joking. I'm on my second and a half, my first was 'rebuilt' and still slipping. :-/
