Default the epic runs with me and the wife! (vids)

Well we finally got a few runs in tonight.....mine is the 04 mustang gt vert (e-mail tune, intake, exhaust, udp's, aluminum drive shaft, 4.10's, short-throw shifter), and the wife's is an 06 gxp (HP dyno-tuned, intake, exhaust). All runs were from a 15mph roll.....thanks to the wifey for video-taping while racing! All races were run in Mexico on a closed course

Round 1

Round 2

the epic husband vs wife and ford vs gm battle continues....more vids to come!!!

Her car seems to be a lil stronger than the Stang. The second one it looks like she slept, and the third she was gaining pretty good up top. Your wife is a badass for recording and driving.

up top i def agree, next time im going to try and powershift and also wanna get a dig as well, also 410 gears equal no top end (especially at the top of 4th), but as you can see they make a good difference down low and having a roll cage and convertable doesnt help to much lol. but none the less i think they where some good runs

ps on a side note its funny its seems every fast car that i race always starts to come back in the middle of my 4th gear, its weird. I ran a jeep srt8 with a tune and intake last night from a 15mph roll, and the results where similar, i got out on him a little better but at the end of 4th (110mph) he was starting to come back lol

Definitely some good runs. I ran a buddy of mines 04 GT with similar mods as yours, and it was a close one. From 25-30ish to just over 100 he got me by less than a fender.

nice. the best mod for these cars is 410 gears, id rather be quicker down low, was your buddies gt a hard top or vert, because there is a 130-150 lb weight difference if i remember correctly

His was a hardtop, he ran 13.1 @ 108, but was a nice cold night. Usually ran 13.3-13.4 @ 103-104. He sold it a couple months ago, and the new owner ran 14.5 @ 103 lol

yea its funny if you listen good, you hear the chirps but then you can still hear spinning after from the tires..im gonna try to convince her to go again tomorrow. im gonna drop the psi a little and powershift, and also open her cutout. and go from a dig...lol

Get a passenger to record, so she can focus on handing you your ***! LOL

You need a passenger to make the weight even though!

What tires are both of you running?

lol hell no im not taking a passenger, and judging from the vids she seems to be good at multi tasking, im sure she will win on the top end, but from a dig idk, fwd vs rwd, i beleive she is on stock tires not sure, but im on sumitumo 275s in the rear (not the best lol)

lol, passenger for both is a fair deal! I used to record while racing in my Sentra that was a 6 speed- that wasn't very easy!

From a dig if you get a decent launch I think you'll jump far enough to win.

Hopefully yall can get some more runs in, I haven't been able to have any fun with the Impala lately. A lot of driving with the baby in the car.
